Center, located at Warner Robins AFB, Georgia has a requirement for a
contractor to perform all maintenance, repair and keep the monarch
marking printers in a serviceable condition according to the current
manufacturer's specifications. Any/all equipment repair costs incurred
by the contractor for subcontract repair will be at no additional cost
to the Government. The contractor must furnish all necessary labor and
parts/materials to accomplish the foregoing requirements: PREVENTATIVE
MAINTENANCE: (1) Preventative maintenance will be performed as needed
during service calls. (a) This includes all adjustments the contractor
deems necessary to completely maintain the equipment as stated in the
latest manufacturing specifications and handbooks, which will be
obtained, and updated/maintained by the contractor. These adjustments
shall include but not be limited to changing/swapout of parts,
resettings cleanings, etc. All maintenance shall be performed on-site.
The manufacturer shallreplace all parts needing replacement without
charge with the exception of those parts needing replacement as the
result of any cause other than ordinary use as intended. (b)
Intervening calls to be made as necessary at no additional cost. The
contrcator shall respond to requests for unscheduled maintenance
service no later than the next 8 working hours from time call is
received from the Government. (c) The contractor shall provide a
telephone number to allow the Government direct contact with a service
representative. (2) Preventative maintenance services will normally be
performed by the contractor during the Air Force working hours of 8:00
AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday excluding Government holidays.
Any services required outside of the normal hours specified above will
be ordered under the over and above line item. Maximum downtimes of
any equipment shall not exceed twenty-four (24) hours from the time a
call is made to the contractor (excluding weekends and holidays). (3)
The selected contractor representative performing the work required in
this contract will be thoroughly experienced in the operation of
repair of monarch marking equipment, Models 9425, 9445 and 415. The
period of performance for this contract will run for 15 months from
date of award. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for
this acquisition is 7378. The small business size standard is $18.0
million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation
which shall be considered by this agency. A Request for Quotation
