Army Materiel Command, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement
for a minimum quantity of 900 Roof Canopy Assembly. NSN:
7360-01-043-8477, P/N 5-13-2568. The Government anticipates that this
acquisition will result in a two year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a maximum quantity of 2500. This
acquisition will be solicited and awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis.
The general characteristics and item description are: The cotton like
duck cloth is rain, fire resistant, etc.(weatherproof) material
canopy, and is approximately 15'L x 8'W in size. It has fasteners,
rings, hooks, loop hangers etc.attached to the material to be fasten
over tent frame like aluminum poles. The canopy is used in the food
preparation areas and/or other like equipment. . It is anticipated that
the first delivery order for quantity of 900 roof canopy assemblies
will be issued at the time of basic ID/IQ contract award following
evaluation of proposals. All deliveries of the 900 Roof Canopy Assembly
shall be F.O.B. Destination with 300 shipped to New Cumberland, PA, 300
shipped to Stockton, CA and the remaining 300 to Texarkana, TX. This
item is required to be delivered within 180 days after contract award.
Alternate Delivery Schedules will be considered. For pricing purposes,
it is anticipated the remaining quantity of 1,600 roof canopy
assemblies will also be shipped FOB Destination to the same three
addresses as above. New Cumberland, PA, 533, Stockton, CA, 533, and
Texarkana, 534. A best value source selection will be based on the
quoter's proposed price and past performance in that order of
importance. Pricing shall be filled in on the Request For Proposal
(RFP) DAAD15-99-R-0002, (CLIN 0001AA). Quoters shall also submit a
one-page past performance sheet listing at least three recent (past two
years) references for the same or a similar item. The past performance
sheet must contain a point of contact for each, a current telephone
and fax number, order/contract. This acquisition is 100% set aside for
small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3449 and the
size standard is 500 employees. The Solicitation, Technical Data
Package(for reference only) and other attachments will be posted on the
Acquisition Center's web site: http://www3,natick.army.mil on or about
