NOTICE OF INTENT The 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE intends to issue a sole-source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Advanced Visual Systems of Waltham, MA for the acquisition of EX-PAS-AF-SUN AVS/Express Application Seat License (Locked version), 16 each, Software Support (1 Yr) for AVS/Express Application Seat License, 16 each. This office conducted a market survey and no other manufacturers were found that could provide these items. Advanced Visual Systems is the only source that can provide these items. These items are covered by proprietary information and are not available through dealers or distributors. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous for the Government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The government will not pay for information submitted in response to this publication.
