Description: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego intends to procure on a sole source basis 83 O-1882/FRN TACAN Modulation Generators, Model Standard VII (PN 100286-006), and one Firmware upgrade from RANTEC Microwave & Electronics, Inc., 24003 Ventura Blvd., Calabasas, CA. The Modulation Generators are required to update the OE-258/URN shore TACAN antenna system, which was manufactured by RANTEC. The Model Standard VII Modulation Generators will replace obsolete O-1749/URN Model Standard IV Modulation Generators. The solicitation document is to be issued on or about 11/14/99.
