This solicitation is cancelled based on the fact that after receipt of proposals the Government has determined that the width requirement for the sling was unnecessarily restrictive. A subsequent announcement will be issued changing the width requirement from 1.25 inches to no greater than 1.25 inches. The new solicitation number will be DAAD16-00-R-0002, which will be posted in the CBD as a combined synopsis/solicitaiton and on the AMC Acquisition Center -- Natick Homepage.
