The U.S Army Communications -- Electronics Command intends to procure engineering support services, from Raytheon Technical Services Co. This will be in addition to the existing effort with Raytheon Technical Services Co, on Delivery Order 0006 of Contract DAAB07-96-D-S619, for the new FIREFINDER Near Field Probe (NFP). This task is to re-engineer and install the Boresight Target and modify the existing turntable for the new FIREFINDER NFP test facility being built at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD). The Contractor shall provide all engineering efforts required to update the Near Field Probe Boresight procedures for performance at the new TYAD NFP facility. This includes review and update of the current Near Field Probe Boresight procedures for the AN/TPQ-36 & 37 radar systems, modification of the turntable and holding fixture for the new Boresight procedures, and installation of a new Boresight Target. Raytheon is the original designer and manufacturer of the FIREFINDER Radar system and has proprietary knowledge of the Near Field Probe test facility. The Boresight Target is part of the FIREFINDER NFP test facility. The Government does not possess Technical Data (drawings or specification) completely defining the form, fit, function of the items being procured. There is only one responsible source this will satisfy the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
