Pharmacy located in North Charleston, South Carolina is requesting
proposals for pharmacy technicians and mail packaging support. It is
the intent of the Government to award a one year contract with two
option years available. Staffing must be available to man the positions
at all times including coverage for any absences. Pharmacy technicians
must be certified by a State Board of Pharmacy or State Pharmacy
Association, or have one year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy
or be a graduate of an academic technicial training educational
program. Mail packaging support must have the ability to read, stand
for long period of time, lift, twist and stoop. They must be 18 years
old, a high school graduate and there is a packaging minimum of 800 per
shift. They must have the ability to use bar code scanner and manual
dexterity to manipulate totes on and off belt and seal packages. The
number of employes per shift is estimated at 20-22 mail support and 10
pharmacy technicians. There is a limited number of solicitations
available and must be requested by written request to the above
