The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS), Marion and Fort Waybe canmpuses, is seeking the services of Credentialed or Registered Records Administrators (RRA), Certified Coding Specialists (CCS) or Accredited Record Technicians (ART), to perform medical record coding. The contractor will code outpaitent and/or inpatient medical records according to ICD-9-CM, CPT and DSMIII coding guidelines. Records are both paper and electronic. This is a temporary urgent need for approximately 2700 man hours to be performed ovoer a 90 day period at both the Marion and Fort Wayne, Indiana sites. RFQ is available by faxing a written request to the Contracting Officer at 765-677-3106, or sending an e-mail request. RFQs are available immediately, and are due back tot he Contracting Officer by 10/27/99. Work would begin on or about 11/1/99. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business.
