Abadie, Contract Specialist, 202-690-7506 As advertised previously in the September 1, 1999 and September 24, 1999 issues of the Commerce Business Daily, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has been conducting a series of meetings with accounting and auditing firms concerning an upcoming full and open competition for Federal Chief Financial Officer (CFO) auditing services. Over one hundred representatives attended the initial DHHS meeting on October 5th. As stated in the previous notices, subsequent meetings will be held October 20th and October 26th. In partnership with the audit community, we are constructing the statement of work, evaluation criteria, and other pertinent portions of the solicitation package. We intend to release the solicitation no later than November 5th with a due date of no later than November 19th. This is notice of that intent. It is anticipated that the final solicitation document will be available on the DHHS website at www.os.dhhs.gov/progorg/oam/contrct.
