D -- DIAL TONE SERVICES FOR PHOENIX AND TUCSON COURTHOUSES SOL USCA-00- POC Sally Arvizu (602) 514-7107 ext.283 The Courts of the U.S. Judiciary (the Courts) in the new federal courthouses being constructed in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona, intend to purchase and have installed local dial tone and trunk services with digital and analog facilities. The following local dial tone and trunk services with digital and analog facilities are required with installation, acceptance testing, and documentation: Four (4) analog two-way trunks to the Phoenix courthouse (without hunting); Three (3) digital T1 facilities to the Phoenix courthouse transmitting at a rate of 1.544 Megabits per second (Mbps), with Integrated Services Digital Network Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PRI) signaling (23B+D); Forty-five (45) digital dedicated two-way ISDN trunk connections to the Phoenix courthouse (Advanced Two-Way with DID, Hunting, and Answer Supervision; Twenty-three (23) digital dedicated outward ISDN trunk connections to Phoenix courthouse (Advanced Out-Only with Answer Supervision) A block of 600 consecutive DID telephone numbers for the Phoenix courthouse in the number range from nnn-4000 to nnn-7999 where nnn is the three-digit prefix and where the extension number range does not overlap the proposed range for the Tucson courthouse; Local and intra-LATA (Local Access and Transport Area) telephone dial tone service for the Phoenix courthouse with seven-digit local calling within the Phoenix area from all digital and analog trunks. Four (4) analog two-way trunks to the Tucson courthouse (without hunting);Three (3) digital T1 facilities to the Tucson courthouse transmitting at a rate of 1.544 Megabits per second (Mbps), with Integrated Services Digital Network Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PROS) signaling (23B+D);Thirty-six (36) digital dedicated two-way ISDN trunk connections to the Tucson courthouse (Advanced Two-Way with DID, Hunting, and Answer Supervision) Eighteen (18) digital dedicated outward ISDN trunk connections to Tucson courthouse (Advanced Out-Only with Answer Supervision)A block of 500 consecutive DID telephone numbers for the Tucson courthouse in the number range from nnn-4000 to nnn-7999 where nnn is the three-digit prefix and where the extension number range does not overlap the proposed range for the Phoenix courthouse; Local and intra-LATA (Local Access and Transport Area) telephone dial tone service for the Tucson courthouse with seven-digit local calling within the Tucson area from all digital and analog trunks. The specified analog trunks and T1 facilities with the ISDN PROS digital trunks shall be connected to new telephone systems to provide local dial tone service for the Courts in both courthouses. The Government contemplates award of a combination firm-fixed price contract for installation and monthly recurring services with an indefinite quantity contract for minutes of usage. The contract will encompass all costs associated with providing analog and digital facilities and local dial tone/trunks, including monthly recurring charges, installation charges, intra-LATA usage charges and support for ongoing maintenance over the life of the contract (up to five years).
