The Naval Sea Systems Command, pursuant to industrial mobilization, intends to award a contract for approximately 700,000 man-hours of support services for Submarine Research, Development and Design Studies to support the SEAWOLF and Advanced Submarine R&D Programs to Newport News Shipbuilding. This contract is to provide research, development and design efforts over a period of three years (one base year and two option years). This effort includes procurement of R&D material and prototype hardware to support the R&D services provided.
