The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP)is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to perform technical review and transaction quality assurance servies related to OIG audit findings and corrective active recommendations. A multiple award contract is contemplated for this requirement. Services will include but not be limited to (1) Review and identification of transactions to determine if financial management sites are operating in accordance with BOP and other Government policies, (2) Identify property and financial transactions which are not in conformance with BOP policies, (3) Identify general ledger accounts and property entires which require reconciliation action, (4) Review and identification of cash balances requiring reconciliation, (5) Technical review and identification of FMIS data interface files, (6) Review and identification of transactions necessary for FMIS interface pertinent to receipts, reimbursements, receivables, trust fund, payroll and property, and (7) Provide additional technical review in the area of financial management opertions and property manament as identified by the BOP. Contractor(s) may be required to travel to various financial management offices throughout the Federal Prison System. Travel expenses required will be reimbursed separate from the contract and in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (i.e., maximum allowable lodging and per diem based on location).
