intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering
Agreement with LEXIS-NEXIS to renew subscriptions for the continued use
and access of their database system by the Advanced Research Project
Agency, Office of Administration & Small Business, Arlington, VA.
(DARP), General Services Administration, Office of Inspector General,
Systems Development and Support Division JPM, Washington, DC. (GSAJ),
National Defense University, Library, Washington, DC. (NDUV), Office of
Naval Intelligence, Library and Research Division, Washington, DC.
(NISV), and U.S. Army Counterintelligence Center, USA CI Support BN,
902d Military Intelligence, Ft Meade, MD. (ACCT). These subscriptions
are for online access to LEXIS-NEXIS and related services which contain
an extensive array of databases with nearly 60 million documents and
offer a full range of legal, legislative, regulatory, company and
financial, medical, news and current affairs information. The LEXIS
service includes access to case law, administrative decisions,
statutes, regulations, law reviews, specialty publications and more. A
comprehensive set of specialized libraries cover more than 30 areas of
federal and state practice. In addition, the service houses
international law libraries for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth
and France. Libraries and publications in the NEXIS service are global
in scope and cover a variety of topics including business, government,
finance, politics, technology, and general news. Three libraries are
dedicated to federal and state legislation, and to federal executive
and campaign materials. Full-text and abstracted medical information
are housed in MEDIS. The Financial Information service includes company
and financial information on public and private corporations throughout
the world. LEXIS-NEXIS also offers Michie/Butterworth Books, and
Document Retrieval and Delivery Services. Services will be continued
through September 30, 2000. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND
TECHNICALDATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No telephone calls
will be accepted. NO AWARD WILL BE BASED ON ANY OFFER OR PROPOSAL
RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS.
