Department of State, Office of Acquisition, intends to procure on a sole source basis from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) the TEAMS(TM) software package. The TEAMS(TM) software package was selected by the Department of State as the one most responsive to its documented requirements following exhaustive study of it and other available systems. TEAMS(TM) was developed by and is the property of Artesia Software, Inc. which has certified SAIC as the sole distributor of its product. Certification by Artesia Software is a prerequisite to marketing TEAMS(TM). SAIC will be required to deliver, install, customize, maintain and provide employee training for TEAMS(TM).
