All parts necessary to effect repairs shall be furnished by the contractor. Multiple awards may be made and the same minimum quantity guarantee for the base year will apply to each awardee receiving an award. No separate minimum quantity will be guaranteed for any option period. Estimated BEQ's are as follows on some WRA's: Memory Unit/01-456-8404, 160 repairs per year; Recorder-Converter/01-456-9480, 71 repairs per year; Signal Data Converter/01-456-8411, 10 repairs per year; and Data Entry Keyboard/01-456-8413, 29 repairs per year. Additional items willbe included to support the system and the Maintenance Data Processing Station. Factors for award: past performance—price. The subject item requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition. Only the source(s) previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
