SIC 1795 -- Provide all labor and materials required for the demolition of buildings on Lots 171 and 172 in Laredo, Texas, Project No. NTX93002A, Solicitation No. GS-07P-00-UJC-0001. These blocks are bounded by Washington Street on the North, Convent Avenue on the East, Victoria Street on the South and Juarez Avenue on the West. The estimate cost range of the project is $200,000 to $250,000. Time for completion is 60 calendar days. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Demolish, remove from site and properly dispose of all buildings (to include slabs), trees, and shrubs South of the sidewalk on the South side of Washington Street between Juarez Avenue and Convent Avenue, West of the sidewalk on the West side of Convent Avenue between Washington Street and Victoria Street, North of the sidewalk on the North side of Victoria Street between Convent Avenue and Juarez Avenue and East of the sidewalk on the East side of Juarez Avenue between Victoria Street and Washington Street. Parking and roadway pavement will not be removed. Work also includes locating, identifying, disconnecting, and sealing or capping utility services serving structures to be demolished. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 28, 1999. This procurement is a negotiated procurement that will result in a firm-fixed price award to the offeror providing the lowest price with acceptable past performance references.
