MISSISSIPPI BUSINESS/PROCUREMENT OPPORTUNITIES CONFERENCE 2000 The Mississippi Procurement Technical Assistance Center Network is hosting the Mississippi Business/Procurement Opportunities Conference 2000, November 17-18, 1999 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center, Biloxi, MS. The Conference will start at 8:00 am, Wednesday, November 17th, 1999 with an Opening Ceremony/General Session. The speaker will be Captain Mike Jaggard, Supply Corps, U.S. Navy Deputy Commander for Contracts, Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC. Break Out Seminars will begin at 9:30 am addressing topics such as Women-Owned Businesses, PTAC, Electronic Commerce, Subcontracting, Business Opportunities and Small Business Programs such as HBCUs and 8(a). The luncheon guest speak will be Colonel Robert Crear, U.S.Army Corps of Engineers, Commander/District Engineer, Vicksburg, MS. Seminars will wrap up on the first day at 5:00 with a reception to be held at the Treasure Bay Casino Resort Hotel starting at 6:00 p.m. The second day activities include a trade fair commencing at 8:00 a.m. with an opening ceremony.
