The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting MARKET RESEARCH to collect information for a systems integrator to directly support the Data Automated Communications Terminal (DACT) Project Office under Program Manager, Information Systems (PM/IS). A strong demonstration of corporate knowledge in tactical communications engineering and data network planning are foreseen as critical in meeting the success of this effort. Key elements of sustaining support may include tactical mobile computing (accounting for environmentals), EMI, advanced power management of portable computers, application software development, security planning, test and evaluation support, Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE), and development of DoD 5000 acquisition documentation. Firms believing they can provide the required services are invited to submit an affirmative response to this notice. All such responses will be evalutated to ascertain the capabilities of firms to meet the entire scope of the DACT project requirements. Firms should state their business size, previous Systems Integration efforts/experiences, MilStd 188-220 experience, tactical communications experience, Application Program Interface (API) and device driver development experience, provide a listing of contract vehicles (i.e. GSA, GWAC) and sub contractors available. Firms should include literature, brochures, and capbilities summaries pertaining to the aformentioned needs.
