SYNOPSIS: PROCUREMENT NOTICE -- Plans and Specifications for solicitation N68711-99-B-3393 will be issued on or about 28 October 1999 over the Internet at http://www.efdsw.navfac.navy.mil/home.htm as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The response time required by FAR 5.203 would begin on the date of issuance of the EBS solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. CONSTRUCT NEW SUPPLY BUILDING. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to construct a 3,682 sq. ft building which includes but is not limited to earthwork, water, sewer, gas and electrical utilities; cast-in-place concrete, metal stud bearing walls, open web steel joists, steel roof deck; rigid roof insulation and standing seam metal roofing; thermal and moisture protection; exterior insulation and finish system; doors, frames, finish hardware, windows, drywall; acoustical ceilings; carpet, ceramic tile, plumbing, kitchen cabinets, toilet partitions and accessories, heating ventilation and air conditioning, lighting, exterior and interior electrical facilities and other incidental related work. Performance time is 180 calendar days. The tentative issue date is on or about 28 October 1999 with the bid opening date approximately 30 days later. The SIC code is 1542. The related small business standard is 17.0 million. The cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
