Commerce Business Daily Notice dated September 3, 1999 is modified for
the subject solicitation. The required work is modified to include but
is not limited to: Direct support and general support maintenance
(ground and aircraft) to include Army oil analysis program and a
central vehicle wash facility; storage, warehousing and distribution of
general supplies, repair parts, rations, ammunition, petroleum products
and individually issued field equipment; transportation fleet
management (less maintenance); full food service for selected dining
facilities and dining facility attendants for all dining facilities;
transportation management of household goods, personal property and
individuals; transportation management of unit movements and
installation level supply stock records. For each functional area as
applicable, the Contractor will be required to operate Standard Army
Management Information systems (STAMIS) as well as non-standard systems
and perform activities IAW applicable regulations, manuals, technical
documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); orient employees
and obtain/maintain all applicable certifications, clearances, and
training; submit and implement planning and control documents and
procedures to include but not limited to contingency planning, property
control, subcontracting, maintenance program, safety and security
programs, fire prevention, emergency notification procedures, quality
control programs, SOPs, environmental protection, toxic/hazardous
material and waste management, recycling, energy conservation program,
Army Performance Improvement Criteria, data and information
requirements; information security and accreditation; and provide
mobilization support and facilities engineering technical support. This
solicitation is in support of an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison
study and may or may not result in the award of a contract. The
anticipated issue date has changed from on or about 20 Oct 99 to 01 Nov
99 and the anticipated proposal due date has changed from on orabout 07
Dec 99 to on or about 15 Dec 99. The Request for Proposal (RFP) may be
