Bannister Road, Kansas City, MO, intends to solicit for temporary support services for two (2) temporary employees, 2080 hours, to perform the following duties: 1) radiosonde packing/unpacking; 2) data entry into National Reconditioning Center (NRC)/National Logistics Support Center (NLSC) vax; 3) mail delivery (may include trips to U.S. Dept. of Commerce office, 601 E. 12th St., Kansas City, MO, with transportation provided); 4) packing/unpacking; 5) turn-in repaired items to NLSC; 6) equipment delivery to NRC repair units and quality control; 7) acceptance of delivered material; participate in inventory audits; 8) filing; 9) disposal of excess equipment; 10) copying data onto Government forms. Daily assignments within the above categories will be directed by the NRC logistics area supervisor or designated representative, as the workload dictates. Materials: All materials for required duties will be provided by the Government. Labor estimate: 2080 hours (no overtime anticipated). Environment: Office or warehouse. Job requirements: Valid driver's license; basic keyboard entry skills; ability to lift 50 lbs; filing. Work schedule: 0700 -- 1530 (8 hr shift) Monday-Friday with 30 minute lunch.
