Effective October 1, 1999, the U.S. Customs Service will be using the General Services Administration Electronic Posting System (EPS) to publicize synopses of all its open market business opportunities exceeding $25,000. Until the law changes, all such opportunities will also continue to be announced in the Commerce Business Daily. EPS is located at www.eps.gov on the World Wide Web. It is free to all vendors. If you desire, EPS will regularly notify you automatically of all business opportunities in its database of interest to you. You need only perform a simple, one-time, on-line registration. This feature is especially valuable for small businesses.
