The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB FL, intends to award a contract to purchase 12 computerized bulk pill dispensing systems to be installed at various locations. The systems shall include drug cells, super cells, computer interfaces, cassette counters, and cassettes. The systems must also be compatible with the existing Composite Health Care System. This is a contemplated sole source to Automated Prescription System, P.O. Box 4118, Pineville, LA 71361. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-00-Q-0119 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, parts, and transportation as necessary to provide for installation, rental, and perpetual maintenance, of the bulk pill dispensing systems, at each location. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
