This announcement constitues the requirement and is the only documentation that will be issued. PTO intends to award Purchase Order 43PT093006 as a sole source award to UUNET. UUNET is located at 1945 Old Gallows Road, Vienna, VA 22182. This award is for renewal of the services that is currently being used through this internet service. PTO can only have one Internet Service Provide (ISP) for both high speed internet access for the PTO campus and remote Internet access for PTO at home employees. The orginial award was placed in January 1997, in order to replace this service, PTO would have to disconnet and reconnet both services at PTO and for each employee using the service from a remote site. Based on the adminstrative cost and resouces associated with an alternative service PTO has issued the above mentioned purchase order as renewal for internet service.
