NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR
Turnkey Computer Control System. Companies shall acknowledge all
amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official
amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be
issued. The purpose of this amendment is to address the final questions
regarding the Turnkey Computer Control System and to extend the reponse
date. The final questions and answers are as follows: Question #1: We
understand the scope of the on-site wiring task to include the the
following wiring: (a)Wire the M4RTU to the 2 Pcs; (b) Wire the M4RTU to
the SNAP I/O systems; (c) Wire the new Autoclave to teh SNAP I/O
system; (d) Wire the Wabash Vacuum Press to the computers or M4RTU and
(e)Install a SNAP I/O system, remove wires from the HP-3497 DAQ and
reconnect the existing wires to the SNAP I/O. Is this correct? Answer:
Whatever it takes to get systems up and running for full control and
Data Acquisition. Question #2: When will the newAutoclave be available
and will the supplier be required to perform 2 site visits for
installation or will the new Autoclave be available very soon after
contract award? Answer: The plans are to have a second autoclave
available, however, a second visit may be required. Question #3: Would
you please consider extending the bid due date to October 7, 1999? The
new response date is October 8, 1999. The due date for receipt of
offers is extended to October 8, 1999. Companies shall provide the
information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition
Internet Service (NAIS) on 08/26/99, in addition Amendments 1, 2, and
3 Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet
and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint
4.0) format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be
accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL,
