Tatum (202) 273-8773 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), Washington, D.C., is re-soliciting the requirement for FLAGS, NATIONAL, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INTERMENT, NSN 8345-00-656-1432, made in accordance with Federal Specification DDD-F-416E dated November 27, 1981. This requirement was previously solicited as IFB 101-01-99, but the requirement has changed. Salient characteristics are: The interment flag of the United States shall be a 5-foot hoist by 9-foot 6-inch fly flag, and be wholly produced in the United States from 100% cotton. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business using SIC Code 2399. To be determined a small business for this SIC Code the maximum number of employees allowed is 500. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for one year for an estimated quantity of 321,000 flags. Copies of Invitation for Bids (IFB) 101-02-99 will be available to companies that received earlier solicitation (IFB 101-01-99) and to all others submitting written or e-mail requests on or about 15 days after publication of this notice.
