The U.S. Army intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Indiana Ordnance Works, (IOW) Charlestown, IN 47111-9668, to Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) 1000 each XM231 live case, inert propellant MACS propelling charges. The Contractor must provide inert PAP7993 propellant or a similar inert ignition system and end seals to load the live case sets. The Contractor must have the requesite engineering staff, equipment, expertise and LAP facility to satisfy the U.S. Governments requirement's.
