MosherCS@navir.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue
a contract with Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Company (LMFS), 1801
State Route 17C, Owego, New York to configure five government-furnished
SH-60B aircraft to the SH-60R configuration. LMFS is currently under
contract with the Navy to develop the SH-60R helicopter, and to provide
two prototypes and two test article SH-60R aircraft to the Navy.
Because LMFS is the current developer and integrator of all SH-60R
functionality, they are the only source capable of providing these five
Low Rate Initial Production aircraft. See Note 22. Posted 09/23/99
