MODIFICATIONS TO BACKPACK FRAME In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 the U.S. Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick MA intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Down East Incorporated, Bridgton Maine for modifications to an existing backpack frame currently produced by Down East for the MOLLE. Down East owns the rights to the Frame and has the technical expertise and equipment to produce the modified versions. Firms contending that they can meet this requirement must submit convincing evidence that they can meet this requirement.
