307-3070 Residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for
Federal male/female offenders in the Southern District of California.
Interested concerns having the ability to provide residential CCC
services are requested to give written notification (including
telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer
listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody,
control, accountability, and treatment to include furnishing of
subsistence and medical services, except the expenses of hospital,
surgical, prescription, and dental treatment. The services described
shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work.
The requirement shall consist of four (4) line items with Line Items 1
and 3 utilizing the Statement of Work entitled, Community Correction
Center, dated December 1992; Line item 2, will utilize the Statement of
Work entitled, Community Corrections Center with Urban Work Cadre
Component, dated october 1994 and Line item 4, will consist of Drug
Transitional Services utilizing the Statement of Work entitled,
Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment/Substance Treatment dated June 1999.
The estimated total of inmate days is reflected with a two year base
period w/three one year options for each line item, and are reflected
as: (a) Line item 1, Base Period -- 36,500 inmate days, and 18,250
inmate days for option years 1, 2, 3. (b) Line item 2, Base Period --
58,400 inmate days, and 29,200 inmate days for option years 1, 2, and
3. (c) Line item 3, Base Period -- 29,200 inmate days, and 14,600
inmate days for option year 1, 2, and 3. (d) Line item 4, Base Period
-- Intake Assessments (one per inmate), 200 Assessment over a 2 year
period. Individual Counseling (30 half-hour sessions per inmate)
w/4,800 sessions for 100 inmates; Group Counseling (30 half-hour
sessions per inmate) w/16,800 sessions for 100 inmates. Option years 1,
will consist of the following: Intake Assessments (one per inmate), 100
inmates; Individual Counseling (30 half-hour sessions per inmate)
w/4,800 sessions for 100 inmates; and Option Year 2 and 3 will consist
of the following: Intake Assessment (one per inmate), 100 inmates;
Individual Counseling (30 half-hour sessions per inmate) w/2,400
sessions for 100 inmates. The RFP issue day is o/a October 22, 1999. A
Requirements Type contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Federal Bureau of
Prison. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone calls
