THIS PROJECT PROVIDES A NEW MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IN THE OFFICE AREAS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE BUILDING. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE AIR HANDLERS WITH THEIR ASSOCIATED STARTERS AND MOTOR CONTROLS CENTERS. INSTALL DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROLS (DDC), COMPATIBLE WITH MSFC UTILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (UCS), ON EACH SYSTEM. PORVIDE NEW DIFFUSERS AND GRILLES THROUGHOUT. ALSO, REPLACE ALL LIGHT FIXTURES, LIGHT SWITCHES, AND WIRING BACK TO PANELBOARDS AND REPLACE ALL DISTRIBUTION PANELBOARDS (480/277 AND 208/120 VOLT) AND FEEDERS IN WORK AREA EXCEPT FOR TWO NEW PANELBOARDS IN ROOM 118. REPLACE WIRING OUT TO ALL RECEPTACLES AND REPLACE MOTOR CONTROL CENTERS AND SAFETY SWITCHES FOR MOTORS. REPLACE EXISTING CEILING DIFFUSERS AND BALANCE THE WORK. PORVIDE NEW LIGHT FIXTURES. INCIDENTAL WORK REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WORK SHALL ALSO BE INCLUDED, INCLUDING WALL, CEILING, AND FLOOR REPAIRS; MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING WALLS, CEILINGS, FLOORS, ETC. INCLUDING PAINTING AND OTHERS FINISH CHANGES. ALL REQUEST MUST BE IN WRITING AND STATE A COMPLETE NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE AND FAX NUMBER. The order of magnitude for the procurement is BETWEEN $500,000.00-$1,000,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 360 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small busines size standard for this procurement are 1541 and 17M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about OCTOBER 15,1999 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about NOVEMBER 20, 1999.
