The Corps of Engineers has a need for a construction contract for valve replacement and miscellaneous construction to include constructing new access tunnels in the dam; modification of the low flow sluices and intakes; installation of steel sluice liners; installation of new 36" ring jet valves, ball valves, and associated piping for the low flow discharge system; fabrication of a maintenance bulkhead for the low flow sluice; replacement of existing 36" gate valves with 36" service and emergency ball valves and associated piping; concrete modifications in the inspection gallery at the sluice valves, and rehabilitation of the electrical system for the dam at Berlin Lake, Berlin Center, Portage and Mahoning Counties, Ohio.
