Webb, 404-338-9220 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
solicitation number is TIRSE-00-Q-00008 and is being issued as a
Request for Proposals. The IRS will be entering into an unrestricted
Commercial Item (CI) procurement using Simplified Acquisition
Procedures (SAP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions
and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
97-12. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7521 with a Small
Business Sixe Standard of $5.0 million. The IRS requires 175 parking
spaces between Scott and Madison Streets, near the IRS, 201 W.
Rivercenter Blvd., Covington, KY for a period of five (5) months,
January 1, 2000 through May 31, 2000. Parking spaces must be available
7 days a week, on a 24 hour per day basis. The parking spaces shall be
of standard size to accomodate medium and large size automobiles,
passenger vans and small pick-up trucks. The entire parking area must
have adequate lighting for night parking. The pavement and markings of
the area shall be in good repair for the safety of Government
employees and visitors. Two exits/entrances to the parking facility
must be available for easy access. The contractor shall be responsible
for painting and general repairs and cleaning of the parking facility.

award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible
offeror whose offer, confirming to the solicitation, will be most
