This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued, proposals are being requested from this announcement, a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal number is 575-503-00. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-12. Standard Industrialization Code (SIC) of 8999 is applied. This solicitation is issued subject to the availability of government funds at time of award. This solicitation is unrestricted for the following service: Contractor shall provide maintenance services for the following Toshiba Ultrasound equipment: SSH-140A Ultrasound Systems, PEF-510SB Transducer, Transesophagael, PEF-704LA Laparascopic Transducer, PSF-37FT Sector Transducer, PLF-703NT Linear Transducer, PVF-620ST Monoplane Transducer, PSF-25LT Sector Transducer, PSF-37HT Sector Transducer, SV0-9500MD/4 S-VHS Sony VCR, UP-890MD B&W Sony Printer and SSA-270A Ultrasound System, PLF-703ST Linear Transducer, PSF-25DT Sector Transducer, PSF-37CT Sector Transducer, PVF-357MT Convex Transducer, PVF-745V Intra operative Transducer, UP-3000 Sony Color Printer, AG-7350 VCR, S-VHS Panasonic. Maintenance is to include two (2) preventive maintenance visits per year, all parts and labor during business hours (8:30-5 Monday through Friday). The following provisions and clauses are applicable and are hereby incorporated into the solicitation by reference and will be provided by the contracting officer in full text upon request: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Item applies. Award will be made to that offeror (1) whose proposal is technically acceptable and (2) whose technical/cost relationship is most advantageous to the Government. While cost is secondary to technical, it will be a factor in the award decision.
