Webb, 404-338-9220 The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award
a sole source contract with the City of Covington, 638 Madison Avenue,
Covington, KY. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial
items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
solicitation number is TIRSE-00-P-00007 and is being issued as a
Request for Proposal. The IRS will be entering into an unrestricted
commercial item (CI) procurement using Simplified Aquisition Procedures
(SAP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No.
97-12. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7521 with a Small
Business Size Standard of $5.0 million. The IRS requires 100 parking
spaces at 3rd and Madison Ave., for a rental period of 1 year, October
1, 1999through September 30, 2000. The parking spaces shall be
available 7 days a week on a 24 hour a day basis. Spaces shall be
standard size to accomodate medium and large size automobiles,
passenger vans, and small pick-up trucks. The parking area must have
adequate lighting for night parking. Two exits/entrances to the parking
facility shall be available for easy access. Pavement and parking of
the area shall be in good repair for the safety of Governement
employees and visitors. CLAUSES AND PROVISIONS: 52.212-1, Instructions

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this
solicitation to the responsible oferor whose offer, confirming to the
solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and
