This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Maintenance (including labor and parts) of Government owned Automated Data Processing (ADP) equipment. All equipment is Hewlett Packard brand. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (commercial services) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued. Solicitation N00164-99-Q-0299 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is reserved for Small Business. Types of equipment to be serviced are: computers, controllers, plotters, printers and etc. (A complete list of equipment to be services has been attached). The contractor is responsible for providing all test equipment, diagnostic routines, documentation, schematics, hardware/software manuals and tools required to perform maintenance of this equipment. The contractor must have access to the Original Equipment Manufacturer's update service manuals. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Offeror responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items and must include a complete copy of provisions 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS Number) and Tax Identification Number (ITT). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that responded to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided such changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
