Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to provide herbicide applications, on an as required basis, at select national cemeteries in the National Cemetery Administration's Western Area. Western Area national cemeteries covered by this acquisition are located in : Hawaii, Alaska, California, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, West Texas, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Minnesota. The resulting firm fixed-price type requirements contract will cover the period February 1, 2000 (or date of contract award, whichever is later), through January 31, 2001 (base period), with three 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through January 31, 2004. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 0782 and a size standard of $5 million applies to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation. Jackson, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable), made payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs."
