The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is requesting quotations for cemetery operations and grounds maintenance services at Roseburg National Cemetery, Roseburg, OR 97470-6513. Contract covers the period December 1, 1999 through November 30, 2000 (base period), with three 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through November 30, 2003. Work includes: Interment and disinterments of casketed and cremated remains; grounds maintenance operations (mowing, trimming, grave maintenance, irrigation management, fertilization/soil amendments, aeration, thatching, integrated pest management, tree/shrub maintenance and curb edging); headstone and grave marker operations (receiving, setting, raising, realigning and cleaning); facility maintenance (floral pick-up; debris maintenance; snow/ice removal and custodial services). A tour of the cemetery will be given to prospective offerors by Government representatives at 10:00 a.m., PDT, Wednesday, September 29, 1999 (prospective offerors should assemble at the cemetery's entrance) followed by a pre-proposal conference to be held at 11:30 a.m., PDT, in Room C206 at the VA Medical Center, Roseburg, OR. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 0782 and a size standard of $5 million are applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer. Requests for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in writing to Mr. James C.
