synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information pertaining to FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This
combined synopsis/solicitation is open to both large and small business
concerns. The Standard Industrial Class (SIC) number is 5112 and the
small business size standard is 100 employees. Solicitation number
99BDCPS9003358 is issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) for the
purchase of school supplies. The supplies that are requested are as

award will be made to the offeror who submits the lowest, responsible
bid. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation should provide
this office with an original and 3 copies of a price bid for the
requested items. OFFERS MUST BE SIGNED. Each offeror shall include a
completed copy of the provisions FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations
and Certifications-Commercial Items, it's Dun & Bradstreet Code, and
it's Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. Those companies not

24, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. to the address and identified point of contact
