This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F64133-99-R0024, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Contractors are asked to provide a lump-sum proposal to provide all parts, labor, material, equipment and transportation to repair cracks and resurface/paint the flooring in Building 18004, Andersen AFB, Guam. Performance period will be 75 days from the date of award. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This requirement is a total Small Business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8999, and the small business size standard is $5.0 mil. The solicitation will be written in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 for Acquisition of Commercial Items. A site visit is scheduled for 13 Sep 1999 at 0900 a.m. at Building 18004. All prospective bidders will meet at the Contracting Office, bldg. 17000, prior to proceeding to the site location.
