The National Weather Service is soliciting quotes from qualified offerors to provide all labor and material to conduct ground maintenance service at 1 Weather Lane, Gray, Maine, approximately 1 acre. During the month of October and then resuming in the months of April, May, June, July, August and September, the Contractor shall mow the lawn area; properly dispose of mulch/cuttings; water lawn, plant beds, trees and shrubs; and trim grass and remove gravel around all facilities. Monthly services include applying lawn fertilizer, crabgrass treatment, broadleaf weed treatment, surface insect treatment and grub treatment as needed. Semi-annual services include removing leaves and debris from lawn; pruning trees and shrubs as needed. Annual services include distributing mulch around plants. The period of performance will be from October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000; there will be four option years with an ending date of September 30, 2004.
