NNMC intends to award a sole sourced standing order to Gen-Probe for reagents. Gen-Probe manufactures the only product that will screen and detect both Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis infections for a single specimen obtained from a patient. These reagents are also compatible with the laboratory's leader 450-i chemilumiscence photometer.
