may provide Evaluation and Plannning Services under the provisions of
Title 38 CFR 21.47 and 21.250 through 21.258. Employment Eligibility
Criteria: VR & C Division shall provide or contract to provide the full
range of Evaluation and Planning Services described in 38 CFR 21 to any
participant i.e. veteran eligibility for these services under Title 38,
Chapter 31. The contractor shall perform comprehensive intake
interviews with referred eligible veterans including scheduling of
activities and data collection with documents under the headings of:
VETERANS HISTORY, DISABILITY CONDITIONS, ASSESMENT OF INTERESTS,
APTITUDES AND ABILITIES AND VOCATIONAL EXPLANATION. The purpose of
these interviews is to provide VA counseling Pyschologists
comprehensive, fully inclusive current and historical information to
use in: a.) Determinations of the existence or non extistence of an
employment handicap and serious employment handicap; b.) Making
determinations of feasibility to achieve employment and independent
living related goals; and; c.) Assisting disabled veterans to plan a
rehabilitation related program of services; d.) Contractor will porvide
admissions of tests prescribed by referring VA Counseling
Psychologists, scoring and examiner comments according to the format on
VA Form 28 1920c. Contract period shall be for one (1) year with the
Government's option to renew the contract for four (4) one-year option
periods starting on the date of award. The Government anticipates
multiple awards for this requirement. GEOGRAPHICAL SERVICE AREA FOR
EMPLOYMENT SERVICES: Chapter 31 Evaluation and Planning services
outlined in this contract shall be provided to eligible participants
within the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San bernardino,
Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, Inyo, and San Luis Obispo, with the
emphasis of having Evaluation and Planning Services available within
all major population areas to the extent that veterans requiring these
services may conveniently take advantage of them. Interested parties
