TRADOC Acquisition Center, Fort Eustis, Virginia intends to solicit and award a contract for renovation services of exisiting classroom space. Contractor will be supplied with a design concept and will be required to perform a site visit, provide a revised design plan to accommodate existing classroom space to be provided, perform all renovation to the space (to include, but not limited to: wiring, HVAC, raised flooring, ceiling replacement, etc.), provide all furnishings (to include, but not limited to: racks, desks, chairs, teaching stations, etc), and all finishing "touches". Contractor will be require to warranty the design plan and all work associated with the renovation. Contractor will be responsible for providing personnel will all necessary licenses and certifications required by the various state laws. Contract will be for 270 separate rooms within the Continental U.S. (CONUS). Contract will be an indefinite delivery, fixed price contract for a 12-month base period (FY00) and NINE (9) 12-month option periods (FY01 -- FY09). The Government CANNOT guarantee any specific number of classroom renovations to be completed within any given fiscal year (FOR EXAMPLE: the Government MAY renovate 3 classrooms in FY00,14 classrooms in FY01, 0 classrooms in FY02, 50 classrooms in FY03, etc). Current plans are to renovate classrooms on TRADOC CONUS sites (Outside-CONUS is not anticipated but is not ruled out). It is anticipated that solicitation evaluation will utilize Oral Presentations (which will be accomplished at Fort Eustis, VA) and will require a "model".
