Amendment # 1, is issued to the above combined synopsis/solicitation
for the purchase of Gastrointestinal Absorption Studies of Chlorpyrifos
Using A Single-Pass Intestinal Perfusion Technique. The following is a
correction to the statement. 3) Use known correlations, if they exist,
between rat and human to understand the implications of the experiments
to permeability in human intestines. 4) Examine the applicability of
physicochemical correlations to predict the permeability of
organophosphate pesticides or their extent of absorption. STATEMENT OF
WORK: The contractor shall investigate the permeability of the
intestinal wall of laboratory animals to chlorpyrifos and will
determine whether or not there is regional variability in this
