ANNUAL JPL SPACE SCIENCE SYMPOSIUM FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN WASHINGTON, D.C. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) will host JPL's "5th Annual Space Science Symposium for Small Businesses" on October 13. Interested companies are invited to attend this event at NASA Headquarters' Auditorium located at 300 E Street S.W. in Washington, D.C. (Metro stop: Federal Center S.W.) Registration begins at 8 a.m. and there is no registration fee. The symposium will focus on federal subcontracting opportunities in the high-tech industry. An overview of JPL's Technical Programs, Purchasing Process, Marketing, Support Subcontracts, Major Task-Order Contracts, Procurement Opportunities, and Technology & Partnering is on the Agenda. The purpose of this one-day Symposium is to introduce high-tech small businesses to JPL that may lack the resources to market the Laboratory's high-tech requirements in Southern California. The Laboratory is committed to doing business with high-tech small businesses and seeks to expand its supplier base for present and future technical requirements. Your response should include: (1) company name; (2) attendee(s); (3) mailing address; (4) both telephone and FAX numbers; (5) E-mail address; (6) company size (i.e., small business, small minority-owned business, small woman-owned business); (7) and a brief description of company technical capabilities.
