NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION -- ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ANTI-G SUIT The Human Systems Program Office/Crew Systems Division/Life Support IPT (311 HSW/YACL), Brooks AFB, TX, intends to award a sole source contract to Mustang Survival, Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsibile Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements is being implemented. The proposed contract action is for the procurement of the redesign of the ATAGS and suseqent low rate initial production. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources shall submit information which clearly demonstrates their ability to provide this item. This information must be received by the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
