59 -- FREQUENCY CONVERTER SOL PAN 31517-99 DUE 090399 POC Lorrie Powell at 256-313-6466 or Perry Pederson at 256-955-8198 The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), intends to procure a quantity of one (1) fixed high power solid-state frequency converter for the MSIC High Bay with the following specifications: Input Voltage: 480V, 3-phase; Input Frequency: 60Hz; Starting Currency: less than 100% of full load current; Output Power: 150kW (187kVA); Output Voltage: 120V/208V, 3 phase, 4-wire; Output Voltage Regulation: +/- 1%, under all loads and temperatures; Output Frequency: selectable 50Hz or 400Hz (or variable -- must do both but not at the same time); Protection: Overload, short circuit, over/under voltage, over/under frequency; Operating Temperature Range: -40C to +55C; Monitors and Controls: ON/OFF, Voltage, current, frequency. Frequency converter must be delivered to Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL, no later than 24 September 1999. No installation of this equipment is required.
