Only written requests for solicitations will be accepted. Furnish all labor material and equipment necessary to Rehab the Lookout Building at Station Cape Disappointment. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: A) Sandblast existing exterior masonry walls to prepare for new waterproof coating. B) Remove and dispose of existing canted window frames and windows and replace with new vertical, aluminum frame, insulated tinted glass windows, as designated. C) Remove and dispose of existing hollow metal entrance door and frame and replace with new flush, hollow metal door, frame and hardware. D) Reseal all exterior joints, window and door installations. E) Apply new waterproof coating on exterior masonry and exposed exterior concrete walls. F) Remove, clean and wash efflorescence on interior masonry walls. G) Paint interior and exterior of new hollow metal door and frame. H) Touch-up paint interior surfaces around new window installation. I) Remove and dispose of existing resilient flooring and replace with new vinyl composition tile flooring and resilient base. If the existing floor tiles and/or mastic test positive for asbestos, the Contractor will be compensated in accordance with the contingency price per the solicitation.
