The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center is soliciting interested bidders for the purchase and installation of carpeting and vinyl cove base to be installed at this site. The range of this project is between 25 -- 100,000 dollars. The standard industrial classification for this project is: 5713 and is 100% set-aside for small business with preference for certified Hub Zone businesses. This is a combined synopisis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6 as suplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Nr DAHA2099T9155 is issued under request for quotation proceedures. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The following is a list of items required: Line item 1: Carpeting approximately 1200 sq yards 32oz, level loop nylon, 10 year warranty, to be installed via direct glue down proceedures. Line item 2: Vinyl base cove .080 thick 4inch high to include a standard color range beyond black or brown. Line item 3: Installation of carpeting and cove base for buildings 101, 103 and 105. Wage determination MI 94-2271 rev (10) applies. Succesfull offeror must provide samples of carpeting and base cove for approval. A copy of the specifications and drawings of the buildings can be faxed to your office upon request. The provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- - Commercial Items applies.
